Feb 12,2012 The Moncton Office Interiors Ricoh Rockets of the NB Midget AAA Female Hockey League captured the NB Provincial title beating Bathurst Stars 5-2 in Game 4 of the best of five series on Sunday Feb 12 in Belldune. This is the third NB Title for the Rockets in five years. Sarah Bujold led the way for the Rockets scoring twice, Katherine Richard on the PP, Amy Sweet on the PP and Taylor Dale with empty net also scored for the Rockets. Caroline Leblanc got the win in net for the Rockets . For the Stars, Bryanna Kenny and Kaylie Glendenning each scored and Marlene Boissonault took the lost in net .
On Saturday the Northern Stars won game 3 , 3-2 at the KC Irving Center forcing game 4. Bryanna Kenny, Jennifer Bell and Shania Carrier each scored for the Stars as Sarah Johnson and Jenna Cruickshank each replied for the Rockets. Megan Sullivan got the win in net for the Stars and Pascale Daigle took the lost in goal for the Rockets.
The Moncton Rockets will represent NB at the Atlantic’s in Bathurst March 29, 30, 31 and April 1st. The Host team will be the Bathurst Stars.
The Rockets and Stars will travel to Charlottetown next weekend to play in the Sweetheart Tournament and will face up with team from PEI and NS.
Les Moncton Office Interiors Ricoh Rockets de la Ligue Midget AAA NB au hockey féminin ont remportées le titre Provincial en battant les Etoiles Bathurst 5-2 dans le match 4 de la meilleure des cinq séries, le dimanche 12 février à Belledune. C'est le troisième titre NB pour les Rockets en cinq ans. Sarah Bujold montrer la voie pour les Rockets marquant à deux reprises, Katherine Richard sur le PP, Sweet sur ??le PP et Taylor Dale avec un filet vide ont aussi marqué pour les Rockets. Caroline Leblanc a mérité la victoire dans les buts pour Rockets. Pour les Stars, Bryanna Kenny et Kaylie Glendenning ont chacun marqué et Marlene Boissonault perdu dans le filet.
Le samedi 11 Février, les Northern Stars a remporté le Match 3, 3-2 au Centre KC Irving pour forcer le match 4. Bryanna Kenny, Jennifer Bell et Carrier Shania ont chacun marqué pour les Stars alors que Sarah Johnson et Jenna Cruickshank chaque répondu pour les Rockets. Megan Sullivan a mérité la victoire devant le filet pour les Stars comme Pascale Daigle a au la defaite dans les buts pour le Rocket.
Les Rockets de Moncton vont représentée le Nouveau-Brunswick au l'Atlantique à Bathurst Mars 29, 30, 31 et 1er Avril. L'équipe hôte seront les Stars de Bathurst.
Les Rockets et les Stars se rendront à Charlottetown, le week-end prochain pour jouer dans le tournoi Sweetheart et feront face aux l'équipe de Prince-Édouard et Nouvelle-Écosse.

ROCKETS TAKE COMMANDING SERIES LEAD SHEDIAC, NB, February 5, 2012 - The Moncton Office Interiors Ricoh Rockets has taken a 2-0 lead in the best of five NB Midget AAA Female Hockey Provincial Championship with the Bathurst based Northern Stars. The Rockets took game two played at the Shediac Festival Arena by a score of 4-1 on Sunday.
With 1:05 left in the first period, Amy Sweet scored for the Rockets on a powerplay with a shot from the blueline to make it 1-0 which is where the score stood after the opening period.
In the second period the Rocket scored twice to bring their lead to 3-0. At 2:04 Sarah Bujold shot past Stars goaltender Marlene Boissonault and Schyler Campbell with 2:01 left in the period also scored to finish the second.
Noemie Chiasson scored for the Stars in third and Taylor Dale got the empty net goal with 43 seconds on the clock to finish the game.
Caroline LeBlanc got the win for the Rocket in net stopping 28 shot out of 29 that she faced. The Stars goaltender faced 25 shot total.
The Rockets take a two games to zero game lead in the series and will face the Stars next Saturday at the KC Irving Center in Bathurst for a 6:30pm faceoff. Game four will take place on Sunday in Belldune if needed.

ROCKETS TAKE PLAYOFF OPENER OVER STARS CAP-PELE, NB. February 4, 2012 - The NB Midget AAA Female Hockey provincial championship playoff series started this weekend with the first games of a best of five series between the Moncton Office Interiors Ricoh Rockets and the Bathurst based Northern Stars.
The first game was played at the Pere Camille Cap-Pele Arena Saturday February 4. The Rockets took the first game 3-2.
In the first period at 1:22 , Sarah Bujold for the Rockets started the scoring with a hard shot that beat Stars goaltender Megan Sullivan on her glove side.
In the second at 7:26 Schyler Campbell on the powerplay with a hard shot from the blueline made it 2-0. With 1:04 left in the period, Bria Harding for the Stars shot from the point and the shot deflected off a player in front and got past Rockets goaltender Pascale Daigle to make it 2-1.
In the third with 5:10 remaining Schyler Campbell scored her second of the game while the Rockets were shorthanded. With 3:14 to go, Hayley Hallihan scored on the powerplay for the Stars in a scramble in front of the Rockets net to make it 3-2.
Shots were 31 for the Stars and 23 for the Rockets. Pascale Daigle made 29 saves and got the win in the Rockets net. Megan Sullivan with 20 saves took the lost for the Stars.
Second game is to be played Sunday at the Shediac Festival Arena with a 12:15pm start

The Moncton Office Interiors Ricoh Rockets of the New Brunswick Female Midget AAA Hockey League beat the Lewisville Lightning bantam AA boys team 4-2 in an exhibition game last night.
Katherine Richard led the Rockets with two goals. Sarah Bujold and Sarah Johnson also scored for the Rockets.
Rory Kelly and Jeremie Lirette replied for the Lightning.
The Rockets outshot the Lightning 24-20. Caroline LeBlanc was the winning goaltender and Kyle Taylor took the loss.
